Consultation has concluded

Update: In 2017, Kingston completed a successful pilot program for a dockless bike-share program with Dropbike Inc., and has now selected Dropbike (through an RFP process) to deliver a city-wide bike-share program through 2021.

Bike-sharing offers those without bicycles – tourists and residents alike – a convenient means of transportation when and where they are most likely to want it. Kingston has been piloting a dockless bike-share program through dropbike Inc since early July which will run until Nov. 30, provided weather conditions allow. For more information on where to find dropbike bikes and how to use them please visit the dropbike website.

As the pilot-program comes to an end we want to hear from those who have – or who wanted to – try the dropbike bike-share system. The 10-question survey below asks about residents’ experience with dropbike, where and when they think they would use a bike-share system and the preferred priorities they would like to see reflected in a city-wide bike-share system.

Feedback will be used to develop a city-wide bike-share system for Kingston.
