2022 Operating and Capital Budget Deliberations

City Council will gather around the virtual horseshoe starting Tuesday Nov. 23 to hear presentations from partner agencies and city departments and to deliberate on the 2022 Capital and Operating budgets.

“Staff from across the corporation have worked together to develop 2022 operating and capital budgets that are within Council’s parameters. The end result is a fiscal plan that will support the delivery of quality services and programming to our residents and continued investment in Council’s strategic priorities such as climate change and affordable housing,” says Desiree Kennedy, Chief Financial Officer and City Treasurer. Earlier this fall, the City was recognized for its approach to budgeting and financial planning with a AA Credit Rating and Stable Outlook from S&P Global Ratings.
