New Date for Completion of Culligan Water Park Enclosure

As construction progresses on the new Culligan Water Park enclosure, the anticipated completion date has been updated from summer 2027 to a targeted substantial completion date of November 22, 2027, and turnover to the City on December 27, 2027.

This revised timeline reflects the complexity of the project and the coordination required to complete specialized elements of the facility.

While every effort was made to achieve a summer 2027 opening, challenges related to site conditions, construction sequencing, material delivery timelines, and the coordination of specialized trades have resulted in a necessary delay.

Although the waterpark opening will be delayed, we are still hoping to be able to reopen the splash pad in the summer of 2027 and will keep you updated on that progress. A reminder that while the splash pad will need to remain closed during the summer of 2026 to accommodate construction, there are nearby splash pads operated by the City.

Additionally, we are finalizing agreements to offer city summer programming at partner aquatic facilities to help ensure families have access to aquatic programming. The main focus of these agreements is increasing swim lesson availability and we plan to extend these programming options to the 2027 season. Details and schedules will be shared soon.
