Work on new Culligan Water Park enclosure to begin soon!

Following a competitive procurement process, the City of Kingston is pleased to announce that Emmons & Mitchell Construction Limited has been awarded the contract to enclose the Culligan Water Park, transforming it into a year-round recreation destination.

Over the next few weeks, the area around the water park will begin to transform as construction fencing and signage are installed and crews mobilize on site.

Construction activity will be focused around the existing water park area, and impacts to the surrounding community are expected to be minimal. Any additional updates or temporary impacts will be communicated as the project progresses.

The project is expected to reach substantial completion by summer 2027, when we look forward to welcoming visitors back to enjoy Kingston’s new, all-season aquatic facility.
