Gardiners Road and Centennial Drive/Creekford Road intersection upgrade
This summer the City will be upgrading the intersection of Gardiners Road and Centennial Drive/Creekford Road near Highway 401. This project will bring the intersection up to the standards required by the Ministry of Transportation (MTO) for intersections locatednear a 400-series highway. Once the upgrade is completeCentennial Drive from Gardiners Road to Venture Drive will be opened in its entirety.
The intersection will remain open to traffic throughout construction. However, there will be speed and lane reductions or shifts to facilitatework. Work on the intersection has been paused for the winter and will resume early in the spring. The project is expected to be completed later in spring 2025.
