Highway 15 Northbound Lane Extension - Transportation Network Improvements

Construction is planned for Highway 15 to extend the existing northbound slip-around lane to Middle Road.

Planned improvements

• The existing left-turn slip-around lane will be replaced with a continuous lane that connects to the existing second lane at the Middle Road intersection
  • A slip-around lane is an additional lane that allows through-traffic to bypass vehicles waiting to make a left turn
• Roadway widening to accommodate two northbound lanes
• New top lift of asphalt for northbound and southbound lanes
• Full-depth asphalt repair in select locations
• Paved shoulder widening

Construction impacts

There will be reduced access and temporary lane shifts during construction.
