Strong and robust infrastructure ensures a high quality of life for Kingstonians. It also provides the City with the foundation to support a smart and sustainable community.
The City has made a lot of progress through the current 2015-2018 Capital Construction Infrastructure Plan and has made many roadway, sidewalk and engineering upgrades. For the upcoming 2019-2022 Infrastructure Plan, we would like to hear how you would like to be informed about planned road work projects and road upgrades in your neighbourhood, on your commute and at places you visit

This survey is focused on planned road work only
and does not include other utilities such as Hydro One, Bell and emergency road
work. The survey is not about selecting engineering projects, it is intended to
help the engineering department know more about how residents are being, and want
to be, informed about bigger road work projects such as the widening of John
Counter Boulevard, the Princess Street reconstruction and large residential
road-reconstruction projects. In this survey you will also be asked about
future notifications for the Third Crossing project.
Your feedback will be gathered and the results will be posted on the City’s
website. This survey will take about five minutes. Your responses will remain
anonymous. Demographic information is only gathered so we can analyze
participation rates in a variety of neighbourhoods.
If you have any questions, or if
you would like to receive this survey in paper form, or if there are other
accommodations needed to help fill out the survey, email thirdcrossing@cityofkingston.ca.
Survey closes November 26 at 4 p.m.
