As of right now, you can only put a limited amount of yard waste in the green bin or you have to truck it halfway across town to Lappins Lane and line up to dump it. To me have a few more yard waste depots across town would reduce the yard waste in the green bins and emissions from transport to Lappins Lane.

Use of credit/debit cards instead of coins. Monthly/weekly passes are not useful for everyone.

Widen Centennial Dr between Kingsdale Ave & Taylor Kidd Blvd. Allow left turns 1) Kingsdale Ave towards Centennial Dr, 2) Centennial Dr. towards Kingsdale Ave and towards the continuation of Malabar Dr. Replace & soundproof fences.

Behind bayridge public school there are tennis courts and a baseball feild. Every year in the winter and spring children and parents get very injured, myself included. Slipping on the ice, children falling, parents getting very injured. Since they are already redoing the tennis courts as we speak, I have had this idea that they should put in a sidewalk between the tennis courts and baseball field right to the school to provide safety for the parents and children. Thank you!
0 comment1SarahKalmost 2 years agoPedestrian Crossing at Lisa St/Rosanna Ave and Princess.
Rosanna Ave leads into a large subdivision with many children who attend Holy Cross, Mother Teresa, and Lancaster on the other side of Princess. These kids often cross at this intersection, past 2 lanes of fast moving traffic + a turning lanr, especially between 7-9am and 2-4pm during rush hour. A pedestrian crossing similar to the one outside Holy Cross on Woodbine could help prevent a tragic accident. With the boom of subdivisions North of Princess in the west end, it is becoming more and more necessary to make this area of the west end more pedestrian friendly and less car-centric.
