This project has been repeatedly denied because it goes against our community's planning policies. Stop this shameful contempt for the city!

Trying to foist a building that is too tall and violates building codes downtown is not palatable. Even with the concept of local art.

Love to see some additional greenery in the downtown streetscape. With the setback that they've proposed for this development, it would really interesting to see some green space be created above the old theatre building. Maybe trees, a garden, or flowers. Also integrating solar technology because it's the sunny side of the street

There is absolutely no need to give developers ANYTHING to get public art on the streets of Kingston.

Agree with another comment. Parkland acquisition can happen for non adjacent properties.

Focus on dedicating resources to waterfront connections

Use existing parkland and add more spaces that are oreinted towards families and youth, to ensure more active use of the land.

More parkland space for families/youth

Renew outdoor excercise equipment for adults / older kids at city park

Set up a circuit training workout at city park.

More active parcs.

I love the parcs in Kingston but one thing i noticed, theres very little for teenagers or even active adults. A basketball court or net, a mini soccer field, tennis courts, fun active circuit,etc.

This will not pay any taxes to the city!

Only if these items are set-up not as charities and pay city taxes. How about a casino!

Community Kitchen / Hygiene Centres

With the pandemic, our most vulnerable lost places to cook, shower, do laundry, wash hands and use bathroom facilities. Covid safe (won’t get shut down) facilities are a necessity. (I do disagree with the Capital project, we need affordable housing, and we need development projects which better conform to the official plan)

Planning Policy for the inclusion of RGI social housing units by developers in cases of zoning exemptions

Where exemptions to zoning by-laws and height restrictions are granted, developers and property managers should be required to dedicate a percentage of units built to RGI social housing. For example, where building height exceeds the by-law requirement by 140%, 40% of units must be dedicated to RGI social housing (or 20% -something like that - you get the idea).

All I know is "the streetscape and public realm" are going to be a mess for a long, long time if this construction is allowed to go ahead.

It's too late for landscaping on Princess St. It has already been ruined for that, what with buildings built *right on the sidewalk.*

No high rise here. Against Official Plan. If it goes ahead the whole ground floor should be public: art, exercise, mental health, nature.
