The Madoma Park sports courts are nearing the end of their service life and are currently scheduled for reconstruction in Fall 2026. The project will include new paving, fencing, and court markings for dedicated sports courts.
The reconstructed courts will remain within the existing facility footprint. Upgraded drainage and surfacing will enhance safety, durability, and ease of maintenance, helping to extend the lifespan of the new facility. An accessible route will also be incorporated to improve access for all park users.
Get Involved
The City has reopened public consultation and engagement for the Madoma Park Court Improvement project. Additional consultation is being undertaken to ensure the community has the opportunity to participate in the decision-making process and to help identify the appropriate balance of park amenities.
This expanded public engagement opportunity will build upon the consultation that took place in March. If you previously participated in the survey, your feedback has been recorded and will be considered as part of this process. However, we encourage you to take part in this new round of engagement as well.
If you are new to the Madoma Park Court Improvements project, please register for project updates on this page.
Survey and drop-in feedback event
The City will host an in-person drop-in event at Madoma Park on July 15 from 4:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. The community is invited to review and provide feedback on the dedicated court options being considered for the court reconstruction project.
We encourage you to join us to learn more about the proposed designs, to ask questions, and to share your feedback on the future dedicated sports courts. The event will proceed rain or shine.
An online survey showcasing the dedicated court design options is available below, provide your feedback by July 19.
If you are unable to attend the drop-in event, please subscribe for project updates on the project page to stay informed and participate in the engagement process.
