New Parkettes on Princess Street

Two new urban park spaces called parkettes are planned for Princess Street in Williamsville.

  • A new urban parkette located at 677 Princess Street
  • A new urban parkette located at 700 Princess Street

Placemaking is at the heart of this project with an emphasis on enhancing the public realm, strengthening local connections and creating identity, while also improving urban vitality and resilience.

Typical elements of a parkette, can include:

  • An accessible paved urban plaza as a gathering space
  • Seating elements
  • Trees and plantings
  • Lighting

The demolition of the existing building at 677 Princess Street will occur prior to site works commencing.
