Project update - July 31, 2026

The contractor has completed storm structure installation for the full length of the project and is expected to complete curb and asphalt installation along Norman Rogers Drive from Sir John A. MacDonald Boulevard to Byron Crescent by August 4, 2026. Following that, the contractor will proceed with full road reconstruction for the remaining length between Byron Crescent and Van Order Drive.

The general construction schedule is expected to proceed as follows:

• August 4 - 21
  • Full road closures from Byron Crescent (south) to Van Order Drive for excavation of the existing road.
    • Local and emergency vehicle access will be maintained throughout.
• August 10-18
  • Road reconstruction and curb installation from Byron Crescent (south) to Mulcaster Street.
• August 19-31
  • Road reconstruction and curb installation from Mulcaster Street to Van Order Drive.
• September 1-14
  • Final restoration and surface paving for the full length of Norman RogersDrive.
    • School pick-up and drop-off operations will be maintained during construction.
• September 15-24
  • Site cleanup
