Project update - June 2, 2026

The contractor has been locating utilities and completing preparation work during May. Construction on Norman Rogers Drive is expected to begin Monday, June 15, 2026 (please note this has been updated from an earlier date).

The general closure schedule is expected to proceed as follows:

• June 2026 – Sir John A Macdonald Boulevard to Cliff Crescent (west)
  • Access to Norman Rogers Drive from Sir John A Macdonald Boulevard will be closed during working hours.
• July 2026 - Cliff Crescent (west) to Roden Street
• August 2026 – Roden Street to Byron Crescent (north)
• September 2026 – Byron Crescent (north) to Van Order Drive
