Project update - Oct. 1, 2026

This week the contractor will work to complete concrete work for intersections throughout the project. Surface course paving is being scheduled as an overnight operation on Oct. 8, starting at 4 p.m. and ending by 6 a.m. on Oct. 9.

The general construction schedule is expected to proceed as follows:

Oct. 1-7

• Installation of sidewalk ramps and bench pads
• Completing curb installation and base paving at intersections
• Boulevard restoration

Oct. 8

• Surface paving for the full length of Norman Rogers Drive
• Paving is expected to be completed between 4 p.m. on Oct. 8 and 6 a.m. on Oct. 9
• If delayed due to weather, paving will be rescheduled to Oct. 9
• More details will be distributed this week to affected residents

Oct. 9-15

• Installation of pavement markings, speed cushions and raised crossing
• Site restoration and cleanup
