Project update - Sept. 22, 2026

Our contracting partner is continuing to complete curb installation and paving on Norman Rogers Drive and closures are expected between Van Order Drive and Mulcaster Street. In subsequent weeks, they will be completing sidewalk installation and surface paving before completion of the project in mid-October.

The general construction schedule is expected to proceed as follows:

Sept. 22-24

• Curb and sidewalk installation from Mulcaster Street to Van Order Drive.
• Full closure between Mulcaster Street and Van Order Drive with access for local traffic only.

Sept. 25

• Paving base asphalt from Mulcaster Street to Van Order Drive.
• Paving will be completed between the hours of 9 a.m.-3 p.m. and 4-7 p.m..

Sept. 28 – Oct. 5

• Installation of sidewalk ramps and bench pads throughout.

Oct. 6-8

• Surface paving for full length of Norman Rogers Drive.
• Paving is expected to be completed overnight for one night.
• More details will be provided to affected residents prior to the paving date.

Oct. 9-15

• Installation of speed cushions and raised crossing.
• Site restoration and cleanup.
