Consultation has concluded
Update: The report with recommendations based on the Princess St parking and benches consultation has been approved by Council.
As work on downtown Princess Street continues, the City is seeking input on where parking spaces, accessible parking spaces, benches and bike parking should be located when the street is reconstructed.
The placement of amenities on the newly constructed portion of Princess Street is guided by the Downtown Action Plan and standards set out in the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA) Design of Public Spaces Standards on:
The need, location and design of on-street parking (AODA section 80.39) and
The design and placement of rest areas along the exterior paths of travel (AODA section 80.29)

Your input will help determine where on-street parking and benches go on the newly constructed portions of Princess Street and side streets – Barrie (from Princess to Queen) and Division (from Brock to Colborne). More details on the reconstruction can be found at www.CityofKingston.ca/Princess.
