It’s time to update our bylaw, and we need your input.

The City wants your input on proposed amendments to the purchasing bylaw, which outlines how the municipality procures goods and services.

The proposed changes have been developed by leading experts and would modernize the City’s current bylaw to ensure its compliance with updated trade treaties and best business practices.

Get involved by 4 p.m. on July 29.

  • Attend a Lunch & Learn on July 5. RSVP.

Your questions and comments will be compiled in a report that will be presented to the City’s Administrative Policies Committee in Fall 2022.

    The City of Kingston advertises all its tender and request for proposal opportunities on an electronic platform called Biddingo, which reaches suppliers locally and across the North American market. This platform is free for users to download and submit proposals to the City. The City encourages competition and uses various means to increase the number of supplier responses to the City’s tenders and requests for proposals. However, we are open to your ideas! Please share them with us.
