Consultation has concluded.
View the reporting back from the February engagement sessions.
The City of Kingston wants to receive input ahead of developing resident information and awareness sessions to ensure they are designed around the topics that residents would find to be of interest.
One of the action items of the Public Engagement Framework implementation plan is to develop and implement resident information and awareness session to help residents better understand City consultation processes.
A couple of key areas were identified during the consultation with residents around the public engagement framework. These include; how to participate in municipal government, introduction to the public engagement framework and worksheets, awareness of IAP2 (International Association for Public Participation).
The sessions would be evaluated by residents to ensure they are meeting their needs. Where required, will be adapted based on feedback or interest.
