Consultation has concluded

The results are in!

The information gathered from the survey, along with various audits conducted throughout the year, help decide which initiatives the solid waste will undertake. See the results of the 2017 Waste Customer Satisfaction Survey.

This survey was conducted for the first time in November 2016 and found that:

  • 88.9 per cent of respondents were satisfied or very satisfied with collection services,
  • 89.3 per cent were satisfied with the blue/grey box recycling program and
  • 84.8 per cent were satisfied with the green bin program

Your input continues to help focus our efforts to improve service – and reach the goal to divert 60 per cent of household waste from landfill by 2018. See the City’s waste pages for more information on all our programs and services.
