Project Update - Sept. 2, 2026

Construction on Sutherland Drive is expected to begin as early as Monday, Sept.14, with utility locates being completed in early September. The general construction schedule is expected to proceed as follows:

• Sept.14-Oct. 2
  • Road removal and reconstruction from Virginia Street easterly to Conacher Drive.
• Oct. 5-23
  • Road removal and reconstruction from Virginia Street westerly to Conacher Drive.
• Oct. 26-30
  • Site clean-up and winter shutdown
• May 2027
  • Catch basin adjustments and surface paving
