Consultation has concluded

The City wants to encourage residents and visitors to find their way to and along Kingston’s waterfront. It is developing its Waterfront Wayfinding Strategy which will outline where and how to use signage, public art and other similar elements to creatively celebrate and promote the waterfront trail.

The strategy will apply to Kingston’s waterfront and will be aimed at drawing more people to the waterfront and enriching their experience.

  • Signage should help direct people to the waterfront, guide them along it, as well as frame and highlight its features.
  • Artful elements should help the community connect physically and spiritually to the water.

Resident input will be used to determine the kinds and placement of the signage and artful elements the City will offer.

For more information about this project see the project page.
