  • Project Update - Oct. 16, 2026

    Road work will continue on Centennial Drive and Portsmouth Avenue from Oct. 18 to 22, with daytime and overnight construction scheduled.

    Overnight paving will take place on Centennial Drive first, followed by Portsmouth Avenue. Residents and motorists may experience construction noise and traffic disruptions. Full road closures will be in place during overnight work, with lane closures expected during daytime construction.

    Centennial Drive

    • Oct. 18 to 20 (nights): Surface paving, with additional milling at the Taylor-Kidd Boulevard intersection on Oct. 20
    • Oct. 19 to 22 (days): Traffic signal upgrades and pavement markings, including work at the Edgar Street intersection

    Portsmouth Avenue

    • Oct. 19 to 21 (days): Road repairs and preparation for paving
    • Oct. 21 and 22 (nights): Surface paving

    Monday, Aug. 31 to Thursday, Sept. 3, 2026 (four nights): Centennial Drive will be fully closed nightly from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. between Bath Road and Taylor Kidd Boulevard to facilitate surfacing milling operations.

    Paving Operations

    Monday, Sept. 7 to Thursday, Sept. 10, 2026 (4 nights): Centennial Drive will be fully closed nightly from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. between Bath Road and Taylor Kidd Boulevard to facilitate surfacing paving operations.
