Planned playground improvements include:

  • Combining the playground areas so that all play equipment is located on a single pad of safety surfacing
  • Aging play equipment will be replaced
  • New safety surfacing will be installed
  • Accessible bench seating to be installed

    In response to public feedback received in April, two more concepts for the playground at Oakridge Park have been added for consideration. In addition to the already presented Options A and B in the late winter engagement opportunity, the two new playground options are:

    • Option C - located on the Northeast side of the park. This option offers increased visibility and accessibility.
    • Option D - located in the Southeast corner of the park, near the location of the existing playground.

    The City is making improvements to the playground at Oakridge Park and is asking residents to choose their preferred playground option. Feedback will be considered in the final design of playground. This survey will take approximately three minutes.
