Kingston City Council approved not adding an off-leash dog park in Snider Park at its July 11, 2023 meeting.

The City of Kingston has received a resident request to establish an off-leash dog park in Snider Park.

We reviewed the proposal based on the City’s Off-Leash Dog Park Policy and determined that the site could accommodate a future off-leash dog park. With plans to replace aging playground equipment in future years, the site has the potential to provide good separation from neighbouring residents.

Input will be shared with Council to inform the final decision on the proposed off-leash park.

    The City of Kingston has received a resident request to establish an off-leash dog park in Snider Park. Complete this survey to share your comments about the proposal.
