As Kingston continues to grow, its transit system must evolve to meet the changing needs of the community. That’s why the City of Kingston is undertaking a Transit Service Review to develop a community-supported transit system that is designed with the future in mind. The City has partnered with Dillon Consulting Limited to create new guidelines for transit service and to conduct a comprehensive review of the City’s transit system.
Together, we’re developing a plan for transit services that will support growth, modernize options and reflect the new transportation landscape. The goal is to build a robust, reliable, user-friendly transit system that serves all of Kingston.

Your feedback is essential - at the centre of the review process is a commitment to inclusive, transparent and accessible engagement. In round 1, we listened to your input on the draft service guidelines and the potential for rural on-demand transit.
We are looking for your feedback to continue refining the draft concepts. The draft network map is based on rider travel patterns and your feedback on the draft service guidelines presented in fall 2025.
If you have any further questions or comments, reach us directly by emailing vcopetti@cityofkingston.ca. If you require assistance or an alternate format, please call 613-546-0000 or email ContactUs@CityofKingston.ca.
