Oak Street Food Forest Expansion

The Oak Street Food Forest has been growing for three years. The proposed expansion aims to increase the diversity of fruit grown and the eventual yield available to share with the community. 

The expansion would:

• Offer a wider variety of fruits 
• Give the ability to propagate plants in order to increase local food security in Kingston 
• Include a gradual addition of fruit trees  
• Help grow and contribute more food to the local community 
• Increase the size by 200 square metres
