Consultation has concluded
The City is working on plans for the Kingston East Community Centre to be located at Highway 15 and Grenadier Drive. Once completed, the 20,000 sq. ft. community centre could include a full-sized gymnasium and numerous meeting and program spaces. Program delivery and facility ideas were collected through public engagement in 2016 and have been incorporated into two draft design concepts for the new community centre. The City is seeking feedback on of the draft design concepts to refine and develop the final design drawings. Construction on the Kingston East Community Centre will begin late this summer and is expected to be complete by early 2020.
