What is the goal of My Neighbourhood?

The My Neighbourhood online tool aims to:

  • Provide geo-enabled information
  • Provide a framework to guide the release of future datasets
  • Simplify the user experience by centralizing data in one place
  • Integrate with the City of Kingston website and provide links to other relevant City systems and resources

The online tool is built using existing resources. The project team is not seeking feedback on the look and feel of the interface. However, the team would like your input to help:

  • Determine the priority of future datasets and topics
  • Capture any additional information you would like to see included
  • Determine if the proposed name is appropriate

How do I access My Neighbourhood?

The homepage depicted below is a mock up provided for visual reference only for the user test session. During the engagement period, initial steps have been eliminated by pre-selecting an address (see Image 1) and theme (see Image 2).
