Survey

Survey Closes May 15 at 11:55 p.m.

The City of Kingston is undergoing a Transit Service Review and needs your input! We’ve proposed ideas to shape the City’s transit network and are looking for your feedback.

This is the second round of engagement conducted as part of the transit service review after the first round of engagement was conducted in the fall of 2025. Based on the first round of engagement along with technical data, including ridership data, draft service guidelines were created during the winter of 2026. Together these inputs have led to the development of the draft system network.

The existing network, proposed system and proposed on-peak frequency mapping are shown below.

Where we are in the process

We are in the very earliest stages of this process. All of the maps and routes you will see are for discussion purposes only.

  • Materials, including maps and routes are initial draft concepts developed for discussion.
  • There are no final plans, approved changes or implementation timeline.
  • This stage is intended to allow ample time for feedback and iteration, we want to know how to improve upon these drafts.

On-Peak Frequency Map

We want to hear from you!  Please take a moment to fill out the survey. Whether you use transit, drive a vehicle, or walk, we want to know what you think! Your responses will help us understand your thoughts on proposed short- and long-term changes to the Kingston Transit network.

What we’re asking from you

Community members and riders are being asked to review the concepts and provide feedback on how well the drafts and proposed route ideas reflect travel patterns, where gaps or challenges may exist, and what impacts potential changes could have on their trips.

Together, we will develop a plan for transit services that will support growth, modernize options and reflect the new transportation landscape. The goal is to build a robust, reliable, user-friendly transit system that serves all of Kingston.
